Are you entering Grade 11, 12 or 12+ next school year and ready to build your future? The Enhanced Construction Program is your opportunity to explore the carpentry trade while earning high school credits and gaining hands-on experience.

Newman has proudly earned Gold status once again in the 2024/2025 OPHEA Healthy Schools Certification, celebrating the outstanding efforts of over 100 students in the Health and Wellness and Peer Mentor groups. Their dedication to fostering a culture of health and well-being, along with leadership in securing grants and organizing wellness initiatives, played a key role in this achievement.

For the first time in history, both St. John Henry Newman and Bishop Ryan have qualified in the same year for the OFSAA AAA boys' soccer championship after winning their GHAC semifinals. The two Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic rivals will face off for the GHAC title, with seeding for the provincial tournament on the line.

The SJHN United As One Diversity Team is excited to bring back Culture Day on Thursday, May 15th! This event celebrates the rich diversity of our school, and we encourage all students to wear their Cultural Attire to proudly showcase their heritage. Students are encouraged to check out the forum during their lunch.
